Dun think too deep into my post title. Interpret it literally and life would be easier for both you and me. Basically, it means stay away from comp games for the CT period.

Played my last ET game for the next 2 weeks last night. It wuz wif the sec 2s. Wah, completely trashed by sonicboom. However, the problem is that CQ actually played wif the sec 2s and made them look smug. They were like mining away and then boasting about how good their mines were when the sec 4s were outnumbered 6-3.

The best was when I forced a TK knife from the sec 2. Basically, they were attempting to knife any sec 4 they see. So what happened was that I was about to knife this sec 2 when I heard someone behind
me. To my horror, another sec 2 was attempting to knife me! However, I displayed a rare bit of useful strafing and instead of stabbing me, the sec 2 backstabbed his own teammate and promptly killed him. That gave me time to draw my SMG and kill him on the spot. Serves them right.

Quite scary based on the number of MSN nicks talking about mugging. I actually started mugging Chinese. However, tomolo, I have to skip the CS lanning for Founder's Day preparation. Sigh.

All the best to my ET cold turkey period.

It's like the calm before a storm. You know just before it rains and pours, the air acutally feels stifling and extremely humid. It's like the air is trying to suffocate you before it rains.

Really, I think this applies to CTs. Before the CTs, it's like there's this sense of foreboding and like anticipation (for some only). Suddenly, when I switch on the comp, I cannot decide what to do as I dare not embark on new games lest they need taking care of during the CTs. However, the sheer boredom is like... Maybe playing computer games really help in your synapse function.

Today went for bowling. Not good, only 1 strike. It's like either I bowl straight down the middle and miss a bit to get the spare or miss the pins narrowly to the left or to the right.

Read the combined blog by pecky. Really, I dunno why blogging is like being restricted by the real world committments. I tot the cyberspace is for you to escape the real world. Maybe our real world is the cyberspace and we are just living the dream.

Welcome to the real world, Neo.

In life, everybody gets addicted to something, whether conscious or subconsicous. Those muggers that proclaim that they are not addicted to anything, you are wrong! You all are addicted to studying and mugging and obviously obssessed with results.

Enough. I begin to enjoy Mr Tan's lesson more and more. This is becos he will show us some funny videos at the end of Chemistry lesson. Those are short videos, but they make u think as to what made it funny. There's this kinda creative one where this Jap guy sees all the pretty and cute Jap girls in this Jap city. The problem is that all of them speak with manly, hoarse, crude voices. It sorta turned him off until he encountered this not-so-pretty girl who still has a girlish voice. The scene then changes to the girl (now his wife) and him on the bed (supposedly married). This guy then asked why she still has a normal voice. The girl replies that she has never gone to "the games". The scene then changes to all the girls at a stadium shouting their voices hoarse. Forgot what the advert was advertising, but just found it creative.

Throughout yesterday and today, I found out that those sugared square biscuits is really addictive. I can eat like 15 at one go. It's like I told myself to stop after 3 biscuits, but the temptation to eat the sugared biscuits is so strong that when I finally stopped eating, I think that it was worse than not using computer for like a week. Maybe I have a sweet tooth somewhere.

A cup of sweet honey would be good for my throat and also satisfy my sweet tooth.

Life is kinda paradoxical... In life, u can find excitement in boredom, and yet you can find boredom in excitement.

Yesterday was the same usual stuffs in exlab. Then was quite bored until nat knifed me. Today, boring CEP was on. However, the exciting part came when CQ, Nat and me were locked up in the Comp Lab 2 by some IT Dept guy. Was stuck there for abt 20 mins b4 i managed to call Sharon Xu and ask Aileen Chor to unlock the Comp Lab for us. LOLs.

Life certainly knows how to bore you down. My mother told me that since CT 1 is nearing, I need to study for at least 1 hr everyday now.

Life is just like water. The boredom is the oxygen atom and the excitement are the hydrogen atoms. Without either, water, or life, will not exist.

What a paradoxical water of life.

Today my Hattrick team won again. Nice climb outta the abyss for my team. Elation just ocurred within me.

Read somewhere on the net today that chocolate helps to lift the mood of people. This is becos it contains phenylethylamine and some other substance I cannot remember. These substances are some sorta helper in the nervous system. Also, *ahem*, it can act as a sort of weak aphrosodiac and increase sexual performance. They also note that the effects of chocolate is stronger on females than on males. Is that a reason why males tend to consume larger amounts of chocolate?

Nvm. Elation is just like a sugar rush. Fate and destiny seem to be determined to pull you back from the state of elation. For example, when I was elated that my Hattrick team won, I thought about what will happen to my team when I go into NS. Then I just got depressed about NS. Maybe elation is just a stimulant that is needed to give someone a reason to live on, else you might lower ur sense of security. Also, you might have to keep on doing things faster as ppl tend to do things faster when they are elated.

Maybe I should feel elated instead of depressed for the next 2.4 session.

Just found out that humans take things around them for granted. First, one of the lifts in my block is shut down for repair. Sounds ok, but then the catch(es) is/are: We only have 1 lift left to serve the whole block. Second, the repair lasts 1 wk, starting from last Thurs. It's only Sat and I cannot stand it anymore.

Today supposed to have clan match. Was so frustrated wif the patch selector and et pro. It completely changed my settings and then the patch selector just wiped off my favourites list. Now I hav to reconstruct the list :( Suddenly no servers appear on the favourites list and this seemed a bit odd at first. Maybe we are really dependant on things around us to enable us to function as normal persons.

Compared to the ancient humans, we are like... not using as much potential as we should.

Maybe that's why they say that technology is a double-edged sword.

Just surfed some forums and found the answer to the colourful cows put up along some grassy patches in our tiny island.

Why cows?

Apparently, it's an advert by Moove Media, the advertising arm of ComfortDelgro Group. It's the same company that put up the "Moove is more" and oxtail adverts at the back of some taxis and buses. (FYI, ComfortDelgro is the biggest transport operator, operating Comfort, Citycab taxis, North East Line and Sengkang/Punggol LRT and SBS Transit).

Hope that they dun remove the cows after the advertising period. After all, they help to colour our otherwise boring landscapes in our tiny island of Singapore.

"I am cow, hear me moo..."

Got a call from Gerald yesterday night. Have to do road marshalling for PTM today.

Really sucky. It's like why do we need road marshalls where Elango just like handles everything?

Went with Muthu, Brendon, Willy, Pason, Zeyan and Gerald to Long John's Silvers to have lunch. Actually, come to think of it, LJS has better value for money than Macs cos $3.60 gives me a satisfactory lunch in LJS. For tt same amt of $$$ in Macs, I can hardly fill my stomach.

Reluctance has started to set in for me. Reluctant to blog, read newspaper... The list goes on.

Good if they just have a reluctance-clearing machine.

Really, reluctance sets in when you are being thrust into the limelight.

Yesterday, Lester Lim told me that I am out of the International Friendship Quiz. I was happy as I do not want to go on stage to face like 2000+ ppl. Yes, I hav a bit of stage fright. Not that bad, but it gets unnerving after some time.

This morning, went into the AHH as normal. Even sat down with Quan to tok abt FIFA (yes, lost to him AGAIN). Then they called me up on stage (quite malu alredi).

Sat at the back of the stage with other "powerhouses". Apparently, there are 4 groups in the first round. I was in the group of 4 whereas the others are groups of 3. Suay suay, my group contains the "sec 4 GEP powerhouses" - some person whose name will not smear this blog. 2 person from each group will advance. Somemore, Rayner is in my group. Then the round began. First rnd, we heard this guy who kept giving Sarawak as his answer. I did not noe who, but I was like quite irritated. Found out later that it was Shu Li >.<

Then my turn came. First, got suanned abt my height -_-. Then I had a bad start when I answered wrongly as I was just too anxious to answer. Luckily that there was not deficit marks. End of rnd, was tied with Zhu Feng at 2nd place. Managed to answer the tie-breaker correctly (Most populous Muslim nation-Indonesia).

2nd rnd got completely pwnzed by Rayner. But since I got 2 marks and the 3rd guy got 1 mark and Rayner answering all the qns, I decided to humji and just sit back and relax. Final score: Rayner 6, me 2, the 3rd guy 1. I escaped again.

3rd was billed as "Sec 3 vs Sec 4" by the person whose name I do not wish to reveal. Turned out it was not at all. I answered 3 early questions correctly. Then I screwed up 1 question. Down to 2 pts. Rayner, who was at 1 pt, then put together an amazing run of qns to notch another 3 pts. He 4, I 2, Shu Li 0, Last guy 1. Then Rayner answered a question abt the number of Australian states wrongly. I answered it correctly. We tied at 3-3. Then we each answered another 1 question correctly. 4-4. Tie breaker came (Who is the President of Pakistan-Musharraf). Somehow I managed to answer it. Was quite surprised at my win.

Got congratulated in class, CSC and NPCC. But somehow I feel that I am not as knowledgable as I seem to others.

Then during CSC, got to know that the sec 3s are so efficient. Really, the speed which they do tasks are like... godlike. Somehow, I feel that I did not have the same amount of passion I have for CSC this year as compared to last year.

Does power make one grow complacent?

I need to find my passion back.

Too busy to update for the past few weeks. Now resolves to blog at least 2~3 times a week.

First, LFC got thru. Sad. Juve is obviously the better team. Then Chelsea got thru. Even sadder.

Was accused of being a Chelsea fan by the class. Sigh. Dun bother to refute them cos I am really tired. It's like I am irritated by these taunts, but after a while, I juz get immuned to it

On Wednesday, when I came back from NPCC, my mother commented that I have grown more haggard-looking in the past 2 years. Plus, she said my pimples were horrible.

Sigh. Reflecting on her comment that I do not smile as often as I used to in the past, I sorta suddenly feel this void in me. Yes, when was the last time I really smile? I used to smile at lot last time. Is it the heavy workload that I have now that prevents me from smiling? There's a saying that the amount of smile you exhibit is inversely proportionate to your age. Is it true?

I must smile more.
