Some say that experiencing implosion is worse than experiencing explosion. I dunno, cos I have not tried it yet. (Duh!)

Implosion is when everything just gets suck into something infintely small. Explosion is the opposite. Just think implosion as a black hole and explosion as the Big Bang.

Nvm, enough of crappy ranting. Just read the news. Glazer took over Man Utd. Enuff said. Mourn the loss of debt-free days.

Mourinho pwnzed Fergie on Tue. On Wed, Mr Eng said that we are The Special Ones, the Chelsea Manager. Of course, who else is so famous except Mourinho? To add another fact, Mourinho is worth more than Fergie now. Think abt tt.

Enuff for now. Really tired today. Wanna sleep early.

Some people argue that mind and body are separate. Soul and brain cells do not mix. Your consciousness is not part of your bodily function, etc. But upon deep reflection, I think tt sometimes u hav to admit that your mind acts, works, protects itself like your body.

For the benefit of those who dun take bio, if we were to keep stimulating our nerve cells for a long time, our brain will act as though no signals are being generated. It's called "tolerance" or what I prefer to call immunity.

I believe that if we were to be exposed to disappointing and sad stuff for a long time, we will just get sorta "immuned" to it. You will not care anymore. Isn't this how our body works? You conclude yourself.

Today, PL just came to class. Jie Liang with his usual higher-volumed voice, announced her arrival. Then, she came into class, demanded to know who was the one who announced her arrival and then left in a huff saying that if nobody owns up she will not let us take our bio paper. Of course, Jie Liang does not take bio and hence he is not in class. That kind of incident would have generated enough shock in me such that I will be affected by it for the test. However, that were the pre-PL days.

Onto something else. The govt keeps on saying that Singapore is an economy that is mostly tertiary (ie provide service). However, a bus ride in the industrial area today changed my view totally. Really, if Singapore was to switch away from manufacturing, our economy will die. As in really SPLAT! DIE! Maybe the environment I am exposed to gives me the mindset that Singaporeans are all equipped to go tertiary, but a simple bus ride is able to change that.

LJN mentioned something abt Social Entrepreneurship. It will be good if S'pore has more social entrepreneurs. The sight of foreign workers just sitting down by the roadside eating their lunch is quite difficult to accept as a fellow human. Also, I see some foreign workers sleeping at the void deck of my block in the afternoons. Some people will just chase them away saying that they threaten their security. However, wouldn't it be good if someone just gave them suitable cheap lodging and a stable job? They came here to look for opportunities to be out of the cycle of poverty.

Now I have another choice for my career.

Maybe Care and Concern are the only things that our mind cannot grow "immuned" to.

Dun think too deep into my post title. Interpret it literally and life would be easier for both you and me. Basically, it means stay away from comp games for the CT period.

Played my last ET game for the next 2 weeks last night. It wuz wif the sec 2s. Wah, completely trashed by sonicboom. However, the problem is that CQ actually played wif the sec 2s and made them look smug. They were like mining away and then boasting about how good their mines were when the sec 4s were outnumbered 6-3.

The best was when I forced a TK knife from the sec 2. Basically, they were attempting to knife any sec 4 they see. So what happened was that I was about to knife this sec 2 when I heard someone behind
me. To my horror, another sec 2 was attempting to knife me! However, I displayed a rare bit of useful strafing and instead of stabbing me, the sec 2 backstabbed his own teammate and promptly killed him. That gave me time to draw my SMG and kill him on the spot. Serves them right.

Quite scary based on the number of MSN nicks talking about mugging. I actually started mugging Chinese. However, tomolo, I have to skip the CS lanning for Founder's Day preparation. Sigh.

All the best to my ET cold turkey period.

It's like the calm before a storm. You know just before it rains and pours, the air acutally feels stifling and extremely humid. It's like the air is trying to suffocate you before it rains.

Really, I think this applies to CTs. Before the CTs, it's like there's this sense of foreboding and like anticipation (for some only). Suddenly, when I switch on the comp, I cannot decide what to do as I dare not embark on new games lest they need taking care of during the CTs. However, the sheer boredom is like... Maybe playing computer games really help in your synapse function.

Today went for bowling. Not good, only 1 strike. It's like either I bowl straight down the middle and miss a bit to get the spare or miss the pins narrowly to the left or to the right.

Read the combined blog by pecky. Really, I dunno why blogging is like being restricted by the real world committments. I tot the cyberspace is for you to escape the real world. Maybe our real world is the cyberspace and we are just living the dream.

Welcome to the real world, Neo.
